Seafood fans take note: the “Five Wonders of Phuket International Seafood Festival” begins tomorrow until December 5.
This year, the venue will be Patong Beach and Loma Park in Kathu District. There will be booths from various hotels, restaurants, bakeries and souvenir shops.
Highlights include the world’s longest line of seafood displayed on ice by 109 chefs from around the world, a sculpture made from 180 blocks of giant lobster by the Hotel Artists Club, and fireworks at the closing ceremony.

Food takes centre stage with entertainment and displays of Lanna culture during the Chiang Mai Food Festival.
Now in its 15th year, the event will be held from December 13 to 22 at Kad Cheung Doi on the road parallel to the irrigation canal. Restaurants participating in the distinctive “Clean Food Good Taste” campaign will be gathering there offering Northern cuisine at its best from 9am until midnight.
