A beachfront home for a shared Krabi trip
Amatapura Beach Villa 12 is an entire villa at Ao Nam Mao in Sai Thai, Krabi. The host specifies four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with capacity for ten guests. A private swimming pool and beach access are central to the proposition: the group shares a home and its outdoor space rather than dispersing between separate hotel rooms.
Ao Nam Mao is the relevant address. This should not be mistaken for an Ao Nang beachfront hotel simply because both sit within the wider Krabi holiday area. The villa suits a trip in which time together at the property is part of the plan, with excursions organised around that base.
Four bedrooms, with different sleeping arrangements
The Airbnb listing assigns a king bed, floor mattress and crib to the first bedroom. Bedrooms two and four are listed with queen beds, while bedroom three has a queen bed and a floor mattress. That is more informative than the maximum occupancy alone: ten guests are not being promised ten separate conventional beds.
The host says the house was designed to provide sea views from multiple positions. A kitchen is listed, and the property photographs show shared living and dining space. Those communal areas are an important part of the appeal when different members of a family want to spend time together without all occupying the same bedroom.

The pool and the practical facilities
Expedia lists furnished patios, air conditioning, separate dining space, a washing machine and free self-parking. It also lists barbecue equipment. Its breakfast and airport shuttle are described as charged services, so they should not be counted as automatic inclusions in the villa rate.
The combination of a kitchen, laundry facilities and several bathrooms has a clear use for a family group. It provides the infrastructure for a stay organised around shared meals and days at the pool. It does not establish that food preparation, a private chef or unlimited transfers are included.
What guests actually described
Nicholis, writing on 31 January 2024, praised the space, decor and private pool, and found taxi arrangements easy. Kelly’s October 2018 account described a group of five adults, three children and an infant. She appreciated a drinking-water dispenser and said one failed air conditioner was repaired the same day.
Those visits support the villa’s appeal as group accommodation, with helpful assistance reported alongside the physical space. Kelly’s equipment problem also gives a more balanced picture than a blanket claim of flawless facilities. The repair describes her experience in 2018, rather than a guaranteed response time today.
Villa 12 within the wider collection
The host offers neighbouring Amatapura villas 10, 14 and 15 as additional rentals for larger parties. They are separate properties. A neighbouring villa’s bedroom count, availability or photographs should not be substituted for the accommodation described here.
Villa 12’s strongest combination is its four-bathroom arrangement, shared living space and private pool beside the coast. It is a convincing format for a group wanting one place to gather. The age of some guest accounts means current staffing and any extras deserve to be distinguished from the enduring layout of the home.
