The room arrangement is the most important detail in a recent guest account: a family reviewing a February 2026 stay found the double bed acceptable but considered a small sofa bed in a space without air conditioning unsuitable for three adults.
That is a report about the configuration the family used, not a statement that every Sunanta unit lacks air conditioning. It does make occupancy worth reading carefully. A unit that can accommodate three people may still give the third person a noticeably different sleeping environment.
Older guests describe useful differences between units
A couple who stayed in February 2018 described a clean, well-equipped bungalow with air conditioning, a fan and a terrace looking over the garden. They noted that other bungalows had a second terrace facing toward the beach, while theirs did not. Their room instead had an additional space, without furniture at the time.
The same account describes a bed firmer than the guest preferred and staff help with scooter rental. Those are useful details about that stay. They should not become a current guarantee of scooter arrangements, identical furnishing or a particular view from every unit.
Near the beach is not the whole beach decision
The 2018 couple placed the accommodation near Klong Khong and described the local beach as having shells, coral fragments and rocks underfoot. That was their experience of the nearby stretch. It does not establish conditions everywhere along the beach or at every tide, but it is relevant if soft sand immediately outside is a major priority.
Booking.com's current information also places the accommodation by Klong Khong and shows a pool. An older 2017 guest said there was no pool at that time, so that historical comment should not be used to deny the facility shown in newer information.
A layout to compare, especially for three adults
Sunanta is worth considering for travellers who want bungalow-style accommodation around Klong Khong and appreciate garden or terrace space. The strongest practical lesson from the accounts is to compare the actual unit: an air-conditioned double bedroom, an extra room and a sofa bed can provide quite different comfort within one booking.
A couple may evaluate that arrangement differently from three adults sharing the accommodation. The February 2026 complaint makes the distinction clear, while the older reports show why a pleasant garden setting and helpful service do not remove the need to understand the sleeping spaces.
