A small development rather than a large resort
Kamon Villa at 74/34 Moo 5 in Choeng Mon is a small garden development with a shared swimming pool. A host-authored bungalow listing describes six one-bedroom villas and one two-bedroom villa, while Traveloka lists seven accommodation units at the same address. The attraction is having a domestic-style base in the Choeng Mon area, with space for more than sleeping between outings.
The bungalow described by the host accommodates two guests in one bedroom with one bed and one bathroom. Its living area contains a sofa and television; the bedroom is air-conditioned, and the bathroom has hot water. A kitchen and free Wi-Fi are part of the description. Those details support a relatively independent stay, although the inventory should be checked against the unit you reserve.
A kitchen changes the daily routine
Airpaz’s structured facilities list includes a refrigerator, microwave, kitchenware, coffee or tea equipment and seating space. A fan and mosquito net are also listed. Agoda’s indexed room information gives a One Bedroom Villa category at 56 square metres; confirm that figure with the specific offer rather than assume all seven units share the same dimensions.
The separate living area makes sense for a couple who want to read or watch television without spending every waking hour on the bed. A refrigerator and simple cooking equipment can also make breakfasts and snacks easier. For a longer stay, ask which appliances belong to the booked villa and whether there is enough equipment for the meals you actually intend to prepare.
That distinction matters because the one-bedroom listing describes an individual bungalow within the development. A photograph, rating or amenity attached to one separately marketed unit should not automatically be applied to another. Travellers needing the two-bedroom option should confirm its layout directly rather than infer it from the one-bedroom accommodation.

The shared pool and the quiet atmosphere
The pool and gardens are recurring features in both property descriptions and older guest reports. Parking and Wi-Fi are listed, and the host asks guests to respect the quiet atmosphere. The shared pool offers an alternative to a beach outing, but this is a communal facility serving the development, rather than a private pool attached to each villa.
Debbie M, reviewing an August 2019 couple’s stay, enjoyed the quiet setting, pool, small kitchen and refrigerator, and described the owner as welcoming. In January 2019, Arfur Sandwich also reported well-serviced villas in a garden setting. These are useful descriptions of how earlier guests used the property, with their dates kept in view.
Access deserves a direct question
The January 2019 review warned of a rough approach path without lighting at night. Kisenish’s September 2016 report likewise criticised the dark access route and described a four-day gap in cleaning, while praising the helpful host. Those reports are too old to establish present conditions, but they identify practical questions about arrival, access and housekeeping.
Ask for a current description of the route from the road to your door, including any steps, raised terrace or uneven surface. This is particularly relevant with luggage or limited mobility. A listing that describes a bungalow or one floor does not establish that the entire approach is step-free.
Arrival plans and the best fit
Airpaz lists an airport shuttle, but its inclusion and price need confirmation. Published check-in and checkout times differ between booking platforms, so agree the arrangements with the property, especially for an early flight arrival or a late departure. The accommodation listings do not provide a dependable basis for assuming restaurant meals or breakfast are included.
Kamon Villa’s clearest appeal is its combination of a small development, shared pool and self-catering living space. It suits a stay organised around Choeng Mon when that quieter, independent arrangement is useful. Confirm the exact villa, access route and cleaning provision before booking; those details are more valuable here than broad resort-style expectations.
